 I think the biggest win for keyboard shortcuts is in the area of
 editing code. To that end, I am adding the ability to use any arbitrary
 text editor in the next release (emacs, vi, notepad, etc).

 As for of the vtcl gui environment, it was originally designed for
 rapid Tk gui prototyping and as such it's heavily moused. Most menu
 functions have shortcuts, though.
