Hello, As most of you know, I visited Palestine/Israel for 5 weeks this past fall. I spent most of my time visiting schools in the West Bank and coordinating a penpal exchange between kids in Vermont and kids in Palestine. I have been giving talks about my trip since my return, though most of these talks have been for elementary schools. Over the next month or so, I will be giving talks to grown-ups and you are all invited. I plan to talk about the aspects of the occupation, the non-violent resistance to that occupation, what school-life is like for kids and teachers, and some interesting aspects of the culture.
