With revolutions toppling neoliberal governments all over South America -Argentina, Ecuador, Bolivia- the working class is showing a possibility for real change in the world. Is it possible for the American working class to take power here? Polls show a majority of Americans are for an end the U.S. occupation of Iraq, Universal Health Care, livable wages, and in general think the country is headed in the wrong direction. How can we make our voices heard and turn our collective anger and frustration into action. There have been two revolutions in the U.S., one to kick the British out and another to end slavery. The 1930’s and 1960’s saw mass movments for radical progressive change where millions of Americans called themselves revolutionaries. How can we rebuild struggle in the U.S. and how can we turn that struggle into lasting change. Join in the discussion about how we can change the world.
