Hello,
Just wanted to let you both know that the issue that includes our review of "Made in Palestine" is out on the streets - the December issue of Vermont Woman newspaper. It's also available online, although without as many images as the print version.

Please notify me once you have the updated NYC venue and date info - I'll add it to the web article.

Dear Ms. Michniewicz:

Thanks for your interest in the exhibition.  It will be opening--the entire show; we only have about 50% of it in Vermont because of space constraints--in NYC in early March.

Bob did a wonderful job of advising you. I have nothing to add to his good counsel.  If I can be of assistance in terms of speaking with particular curators or staff at the Station Museum, where the exhibition originated, let me know.

I hope you are well.

Dear Ms. Michniewicz,
Hi, I am one of the two people who receive the VTJP website email. The other, Jamie Brooks, webmaster, may also respond to and forward your email. I'm sending it on to Mark Hage who led the effort to organize and produce the show, and he will surely respond as well.
Below is the link to an article by Samia Halaby with some images of her work, and a link to some of her paintings below that. I'll also attach a snapshot I took of her in front of her painting, in a vest I'm pretty sure is of her own creation, in that it looks a lot like her artwork. You may use it if it works for you. She is a noted New York-based painter, but also one of the earliest computer-art innovators, as well as an activist and writer, was centrally instrumental in locating artists and works throughout the Palestinian diaspora to create this show; she was also the lead-off speaker in the six-part speaker series associated with the exhibit, and contributed a beautiful and unusual 8' X 13 foot painting which anchors on wall of the exhibition. Many of the other artists in the Made in Palestine show are women who are prominent in the current art world, such as Emily Jacir, Mary Tuma, Vera Tamari, etc. I think you could write to Samia at [EMAIL PROTECTED] and she would happily send you reproducible jpg's of her work for the article, and quite possibly has digital images of many other works in this show or by some other artists. The show is open through 11.20.05, so there's still plenty of time to photograph works at the gallery.

Hello,
I regret that we were not able to give your exhibit advance coverage in our November issue, but I am hoping to have a review done for our December issue.

Toward that end, do you have available any high-resolution images of any of the work by women artists? The images need to be a minimum of 300 dpi to reproduce in newsprint. Please let me know; if not, I will have to make arrangements to come down and photograph a piece or two. Thanks very much.
