Hi all,

I'm testing some features of the GPU volume mapper. I found it really great,
however I believe there is still a bug to solve.
It happens when dollying the camera toward the volume. In greater details,
it seems to happen when the camera enters the bounding box of the volume.

At this link:

You can find a short video (2.19 MB) that shows what happens when dollying
the camera. Inside the white rectangle you can see the volume as it is
expected (I use the vtkVolumeRayCastMapper), outside the white rectangle you
can see the distortion introduced by the vtkKWEVolumeMapper.

You can easily reproduce the bug by using the vtkKWEVolumeMapper as volume
mapper and vtkInteractorStyleTrackballCamera as interactor style (in
particular, I used vtkDICOMImageReader to load a DICOM series). By moving up
the mouse you will see a sudden "overdolly" of the camera.

Best Regards,
Luigi Gallo
