I have merged master into the release staging branch and it builds
successfully.
@Till, if you give me the go ahead with regards to everything else, I
will go ahead and create an RC.
Thanks,
Vinayak

Ok, things are looking good.
Preston's branch has been merged into master and we also added a few licensing
headers (and Rat excludes for expected test results).
The site was also updated to point to the git repository as it was still
pointing to svn.
I think that we can merge this now into the staging branch to finalize the
release.
Cheers,
Till

The tests have been updated with the latest changes from master and rest of
my changes are being performance tested today. I don't have any known
outstanding issues in my current working branch (prestonc/hash_join). After
a short review of the changes to the exceptions, I can merge it into master.

Hi,
I think that Vinayak is basically ready for the release now and that
Preston's current work is also close to being ready to be merged.
I'd like to merge Preston's work into master and into the staging branch,
such that we can the join fixes and the new tests into the release.
Do you think that we can do this today (Tuesday), such that we can get the
release artifacts ready to be voted on before Friday?
Cheers,
