I did not realize that the update v1.2.1 was released today. I will check
immediately!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE UPDATE!

update make sure that all files in the created word/media/ folder are
**correctly hyperlinked** to the created sematic EPUB file (.emf, .tif, .png,
.jpg,....)? That would make a huge difference to us, as the current issue is a
show stopper for us, as there are so many embedded files in our .docx documents.

In principle, the bug you have reported on 2016-07-26
    (http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00047.html) is
    fixed in v1.2.1 released today.

    See http://www.xmlmind.com/w2x/changes.html

    ---
    Bug fixes:

         * Images which were used to statically render objects embedded in
the DOCX file (e.g. a PowerPoint slide) were ignored.
    ---

We have added the DOCX file
    (Register_2_2016-01_Skript_Personaladministration.docx) you sent us to
our test suite and to our knowledge, no images were missing in the files
generated by XMLmind Word To XML v1.2.1.

I don't see what more we could do to help.

    ---
PS: On Windows, if you do NOT want EMF pictures to be converted to PNG,
the simplest is to delete W2X_INSTALL_DIR/lib/emf2png*.*.

Note that this new EMF to PNG conversion feature is unrelated to the bug
    you have reported.
