At the risk of being called an ass I will attempt to answer the original
question.
>From what I've seen the salmon are still pretty much down in the mainstem
of the Stilly. The salmon are stacked like firewood in some holes. Some
really nice looking coho....... at least from a distant because I have not
unlocked the secret (or their jaws) to get them to bite. Pinks are looking
pretty green but I'm sure There's still some fresh fish moving in.
The humpies I've seen up on the N.F. have all been spawners in the
tailouts. The cutthroat seemed to have evacuated a lot of the slower water
and are holding in the current. I certainly wouldn't mind hooking a coho
while cutthroat fishing.......God knows I can't catch them when I try.
