My favorite gift was a wood rod holder from my Dad, sorta like what you find in stores.  After some assembly I found that it holds all my *old* spinning rods that I never use any more, a couple bamboo rods I inherited and do not case, and with slight modification holds my rod tubes… it inspired me to really organize all my fishing stuff in my office/den – which is a gift all its own.   Thanks Pop!   Cheers and Happy New Year all.
