Stripping baskets are good. Spent time last year fishing for stripers on cape cod and everyone and thier mother uses them out them. Takes a bit to get used to but I find mine invaluable. Especially when you are bobing out 120' casts with a CND Atlantis two hander. Getting another 2 hander from Bob Meiser in a 5/6/7 weight for use beach fishing for cutts/resident silvers. This rod also has the capability to throw over 100' with ease ans a place to keep all that line is nice to have. LLBean makes one that is just as good as the orvis for $19.95. Great deal.   For Christmas I recieved a Bob Meiser built T&T 1510 5 piece spey rod. Bob just did the handle and I am wrapping the guides.
