Floated with a
couple of buddies from work today from Sutter Creek to Howard Miller Park -
short float. Saw lots of eagles and lots of eagle-gawkers. One in
our party got a hookup (we presume dolly), and one gentleman hooked and landed a
nice 18" dolly on an egg pattern down near the Texaco Hole (I guess it should
now be called the Shell Hole, since Shell acquired all the Texaco stations in
Western WA). Nice day, cold, little bit breezy, but very pleasant.
Unfortunately (for me at least), I had no hookups or touches. Nice day of
casting practice. Started snowing on the way back to I-5, then of course
the hockey games started once I got on the freeway with the freezing rain and
the dunces who drive too fast for conditions.
Glad to be back safe
and sound in Sultan where it's a solid sheet of ice on Hwy 2, and
windy.
Hope all are safe
and sound tonight.
Sean
