I just bought a 10WT Reddington Rod with a crosswater 7/8/9 reel. It wouldn't cast worth a darn and when I took it back to the dealer it turns out the Dry Weight foward taper fly line was put on backwards. Works a little better now. Seems that Reddington got about 10,000 reels with the line on backwards. They had everybody in the factory pulling off the line and reversing them but mine got through somehow. Rene

I like the Redington AL Reels. You can find them for cheap at ebay. They are nice and not a lot of money.
