Just came back from a 3 day fishing trip to Minnie
Lake. Not many fish, they stocked only 9,000 fish on a 300 acre
lake. The fish that were around were fat though. Most around 18-20
inches a few greater than that.
The wind blew all three days. Last day, I
spent as much time taking naps as fishing. First day, only one fish,
second was at five, and the last day was two fish.
Water temperature was at 54 degrees.
Most people caught five or so fish on their best
days. So it was rather slow for everybody. A couple of folks got
totally skunked. Ok, so they were yups from California, but nice folks
anyway....
Due to the total disregard of private property
rights in Canada....you now have to buy a BC fishing license to fish at the
ranch. As long as you going to have to buy a 8 day or season license you
might want to factor that into your plans.
