There's a stack of cheap nVidia / ATI cards available out there...

Some cards, mainly ATI, can be 'flashed' for use in Macs.
Reversing the process is also possible I believe.
Apparently the difference in price between the PC and Mac versions of
the same card is due to the added cost of labour for this process.
I have not done this myself but I have a card in a PC here which I
bought due to it's potential to be flashed. I just haven't needed to yet.
My advice would be to consult the oracle or Google which ever is easiest
for you.
