Hi All! I am doing a little project for a friend which involves a DAT drive and a bucketload of tapes! I have found that when I re-catalogue the tapes in Retrospect, it fails after a minute. When I check the log, it keeps repeating there is a hardware error due to dirty heads.
I have a head cleaning tape, but have no idea how to use it! Is there any other software that I should have? Specs are: PM 7600 running 8.6 with 64meg ram HP C1533A DDS-2 drive in a standard external SCSI case Any help would be greatly appreciated! Seeya Rod!
