Just a quickie, I'll expand on it further later on when I've got time. Just got a call from someone who got a brand new G4/800 (single process QuickSilver) from me in late June last year. The Mac was stolen in a burglary last night. The thief took the Mac, scanner, Zip drive, keyboard and mouse, but left the 17" monitor and printer. Gee, sounds suspiciously like a "stolen to order". So it probably won't turn up on the market, but you never know.
If anyone suddenly acquires QuickSilver G4 in the near future, start asking questions. Keep in mind that the new G4s are the mirrored doors models, and anyone who has bought a QuickSilver G4 sure won't be selling it just yet. I'll email full details later on, and naturally, Apple will be notified. Oh yeah... the bloke that brought me the stolen iMac before Xmas finally got busted by the police, but claimed that he bought it from the Canning Vale markets, thus avoiding prosecution for receiving stolen goods. Bugger. Anyone with psychotic violent tendencies is welcome to contact me for his personal name and address. (joking!!!)
