Hi, I'm trying to resuscitate a Performa580CD for my nephew.
The machine will only boot if I unplug the hard drive (otherwise it gives a system error #97 - meaning it can't initialise the SCSI controller).
I have an old 1GB SCSI drive so thought I was all set - but it has a 50pin connector on the back, and all my 'junk' LC's are IDE...
Does anyone have an old SCSI drive, 40pin, (around 800MB) for sale or swap?
