Yesterday I tried iPod Util (download from <http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/14715>.
It gave me access to songs as well as voice memos. I also tried iPod Viewer (download from <http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/15864>. It gave me access to voice memos and items saved to my iPod as an external hard-drive that I thought I had deleted, but not to songs. They're both good, but iPod Util is a bit fiddly in that every track shows up and you have to uncheck the tracks that you don't want to copy across. Michael.
