I have problems with .zip files sent as email attachments, usually to Windows users, not being openable at the other end. I use two methods to create the ziped files. Either from the Finder File/ Create Archive or with Drop Stuff 10.0.1 WinZip is certainly not happy with the files zipped from the Finder but usually handles the Drop Stuffed offerings. The Finder happily opens either type at my end. In a case today, sending a folder of .jpg images, I have had to resort to making a PDF which the recipient opened, finally!, with Acrobat Reader.
Does anyone have any words of wisdom to offer on this, please.
