I have Toast 8 Titanium running on OSX 10.4.11. I want to use Toast to burn a 688MB avi file to a 4.7GB DVD-RW, however when I do so Toast throws up the message ³Not enough free disk space. 3.67GB needed, 2.36GB available.²
This is despite the DVD-RW being a blank disk. If I inquire via Toast¹s Recorder>Disc Info... menu item, the information tells me that there is Space Available is 4.38GB, which seems to confirm that the DVD is blank. The option I¹ve selected from the Toast menu is DVD-Video. Any tips on what I might be doing wrong? Why the system is telling me there is insufficient disc space? Is there any way that I should be burning to DVD, with the resulting file being maintained at a size similar to the original avi? (The DVD is intended to be one to be played on your average non-computer based DVD player). I also have iDVD which I can use if it achieves a better outcome than Toast.
