Hi Reg, With the extra 4GB of RAM that is still cheaper than I paid for the previous 2.8GHz model with 2GB of RAM. No Ed discount of course. If you can afford the 750GB drive then grab it but believe me the 500GB is huge! The FW800 port gives excellent opportunity for adding secondary storage later, very fast but not compared to an internal drive. If you are used to a G3 iMac then you better strap yourselves to the chair with one of these little numbers ;-)
