Thanks Severin and Ronni
I might have a go then. Beanie and Frizz are helping. They told me to
vote NO. Elaine has gone to Perth to the craft fair with a minibus of
crafties for a girl's weekend away.

Reg, I forgot to remind you to:
1. Run Repair Permissions before any Apple update
2. Restart after running the update
3. Run Repair Permissions again
When I ran Repair Permissions after doing the Update there was a
heap of changes.
So I strongly suggest you repair permissions after installing the
Combo Update.
Cheers,
Ronni

Hi Reg,
I haven't had any problems since installing it, everything running
very smoothly.
There is large amount of changes 'below the surface' in this update.
Getting ready for Snow Leopard's release.
A thorough article of what is updated can be found here:

Note that if you have Safari 4 Beta installed, after upgrading to
10.5.7, you should run Software Update again. When you do, you’ll
see a separate 31.8MB Safari 4 Beta update. Run this updater (which
will require another restart) to patch Safari 4 Beta against these
known security issues. After running this update, the build number
of Safari 4 Beta (visible in the Safari -> About Safari dialog)
will be 5528.17.
Cheers,
Ronni & Miss Cloe who is a bit upset they wouldn't accept her vote
in the Referendum today.
They took photos of her, but wouldn't accept her vote ;-(

Hi WAMUGgers
What experiences have you had with 10.5.7 updater? I've read some
mixed reports. I've downloaded the Combo update and have 4 Macs to
install it on, but am considering not doing it, especially if
there are known issues.
PowerBook G4 1.67 GHz
MacBook White 1.83 GHz Core Duo
MacBook Al 2GHz Core 2 Duo
iMac 3.06 Core 2 Duo
All currently on 10.5.6
