My G4 MDD 1.25 kernel panics at startup with my Belkin PCI USB card
installed so I would recommend pulling it out and seeing if that stops
the issues.

thanks Bob and Rob
One pci - usb ports - been there for years without trouble, but
thinking back I remember some sort of sleep problems way back.
Bob - I'll try some experimental sleeps
thanks again

Could be hardware. Any PCI cards in it?

Hi all
I can find lots of discussions on kernel panics on waking from
sleep, but nothing on the following.
I thought I would try putting my G4 1.25g 10.3.9 to sleep instead
of shutting down every night, but on 2 of the 3 times I've tried
it I get an immediate kernel panic. Apart from the obvious 'don't
sleep it, shut it down' can anyone shed any light?
thanks
Alastair
