Hi Walter,
when I got this message about the SIM I just chose to ignore it as it
was an incorrect system message. I rebooted and let the restoration
sequence come into effect. When it was all recovered it was in Polish
and I went to languages and reset it to English. all is good now but
the whole process took 1.5 hours as I had to restore my 8+ Gb of music
and applications.
It was useful having a work colleague who spoke Polish and an iPod
touch nearby which has a similar menu hierarchy......
Regards,
Eugene

Hi guys,
I also have the "Incorrect SIM card" message after updating to 3.0
and it the language is now spanish.
The question is, do I have to remove the SIM card before restoring -
as reported on one other forum ?
Thanks
Walter
