Hi Genevieve

Thank you, I have had a FANTASTIC day

Yes there is voice control on the TomTom for iPhone (quite a few)

 http://iphone.tomtom.com/en-us/guided-tour.html

I would think twice though before shelling out for a nav app for the iPhone. The GPS part of the phone does not work very well and will have to rely on cell towers for its information. So unless you have a large (and cheap) data allowance you would be better of with a stand alone GPS unit. One saving grace for the TomTom is the car kit, which hasn't been releases yet, will have a extra GPS chip to help out.

If anyone on the list has a new GPS app I would ask they try it out with the phone in airplane mode to see if it works

regards

Pedro

Does the tom tom app for iphone come with voice or is it just the onscreen directions?
