Evening,

On that..

The new MacBook Pros plus I'm guessing could be future machines (iMacs etc) come with SDHC slots which is great for extracting data off your memory cards! :)

I personally also do this anyway (Even if I have my cable) just to save battery on the camera.

On that, if anyone is selling a Canon/Nikon/Pentax DSLR please feel free to post it up or contact me directly. I'm looking around for a second-hand camera to start me off!

Thanks,

Hi Merv,

all the bells and whistles are important but ultimately the quality of the photo is the prime importance. I found this site invaluable to compare the quality of pictures once you have narrowed down your selection.

It will display a selection of photos with different lighting conditions (via drop down menus) comparing any 2 cameras of your choice.

Hope this is as useful for you as it was for me.

Thank you Ronni. The reviews are are very perplexing. To help I have set out a spread sheet with facets listed that I am seeking. So far I haven't got two cameras that correlate and not one with all the key points I want!! The search continues.
