Thanks Ronni and Peter
I've tried these options and it still frustrates me. As it's only for
one day I'm about to pursue other options. I've already spent my
Market Day Sunday time commitment just trying to get a stupid printer
working, and I've got reports to finish!
Is there anyone out there willing to sponsor our little school with a
loan of a colour laser printer and toner, Mac compatible, this Sunday
for Beachlands Market Day!

Hi WAMUGGers
Can anyone help me get a Lanier (Ricoh) Aficio SP C220N colour
laser printer working using 10.5.8 on a PowerBook G4, or on 10.6.2
on a MacBook Pro? There does not appear to be a Snow Leopard driver
and the Leopard software recognises the printer but I continuaslly
get "Print Error" message when trying to print. I desparately need
it working for my Photo Booth display at my school's Market Day
this weekend.
Hey Reg,
Matt Broughton on Apple Support Discussions has a solution for
printing in OS X 10.6 with this printer.
You can follow the tread & find the details here:

"I think I found the solution. I loaded the driver version 1.11 from
here and set up the printer.
Next, open the Terminal (/Applications/Utiltites). Copy and paste
the following command into a Terminal window:
sudo chmod -R 775 /Library/Printers/Ricoh/
Then hit the Return or Enter key. Enter you password when prompted.
Hopefully, you will then be able to print."
