Aarrrrrgh I,m an idiot

I just answered my own question in that last post. Tried to figure out why it 
is happening to both computers at the same time. What's common to both, the 
modem, did a reboot of the netgear and bingo!! "SHARED" tab appeared on both 
just like magic.

I love this list, a big thank you to Ronnie and all that helped. I off to cool 
down the cats
