The fact that WAMUG became incorporated in 1987 is probably not the last thing that needs to be noted in this regard. 


The protection offered by becoming incorporated is well worthwhile, but there are some obligations in return.  A good starting point is:

This has useful information, for example regarding insurance, and also points to some requirements, such as always using the full name of a society, including  "Inc." or "Incorporated".


Also, any changes to the constitution must be submitted, for approval, on the appropriate form:

and accompanied by an appropriate fee:
