It could also be the IP Address of the Windows Mac. Make sure the first four sections (octets) are the same as the other two machines. Try to 'Ping' between the machines. It's easy, try Google.
To check if the drivers are the problem right click on 'My Computer' select 'Manage'. When this opens look down the list on the left for 'Device Manager'. You are looking for a warning beside 'Network Adapters'.
