I have been with Exetel for 9 months now and, after varying periods with
Telstra, Optus, AAPT and TPG, Exetel has been far above any of those others for
what I want from a phone and broadband provider.

Their rates are very good (they have just raised the cost of phone calls
unfortunately) but what impresses me the most is that everything works and
there are no hassles. I have never had a dropped line on my ADSL2+ and the line
speed increased markedly (currently 1.09 MB/s), at least 30% more than I was
getting with Optus on the same line. They notify me weekly of the current total
cost for phone calls accumulating for the month and notify me of anything of
relevance - again so different from the big providers. They also provide a
forum for their users and management regularly respond to questions or concerns
on that forum.

A happy camper.
