Well,

I have seen wi-fi SD cards advertised, eg:

<http://www.eye.fi/>

Which looks like it might work with "another device" (eg tablet/smartphone
but maybe not a hard drive) since it says:
> Instantly and safely sends photos to your computer, tablet or smartphone.

It also looks like it then erases the card:
> After images are safely transferred, card space is freed up automatically.



However, I have no experience of the device or download method ;o)
