Hi Ronni,

Do you now if these problems apply to Gmail POP accounts as well? I had some 
problems a long time ago with Gmail IMAP access and reverting to POP access 
cured it so I never bothered with IMAP again.

BTW, I have not yet updated to Mavericks.
