Hi, I have been following this one and aware of the apps running in the
background and their effect on power usage. I too have recently done the ios
7.0.3 update and have wondered how to shut down apps.

I know the method in ios 6 - double click Home, then swipe along the bottom
presented app icons, then hold till they jiggle, then hit "x' to shut them
down. In iOS 7, it doesn't behave quite the same, maybe something I am not
doing. When I double click Home, the apps running, present themselves along the
bottom, and the app window shows above too, but holding on the app doesn't take
it into "jiggle" mode. I'm certain there's a simple answer.

Regards

Pete
