A technique I have used with webconferencing software is to record the
minutes on the fly, while sharing the screen with everyone. This way,
everyone sees the minutes as they are being written and can point out
inaccuracies in the moment. The other advantage is that the minutes are
available almost as soon as the meeting is over.
Of course, this means that the software you use has to have screen
sharing capability, and Skype probably doesn't have this. How about
Google Hangouts?

Hi WAMUG members,
I need to take minutes for meetings held by conference call using Skype. What
I would like to do is record the calls so that I can do the minutes truthfully.
This would be done only if all agree to it being recorded.
Can anyone recommend a good program? I have looked into it briefly & one or two seem to
imply that it works on incoming & outgoing streams & one said it did not work on group
chats (is this different to group calls?). Ideally I do not want separate recordings for
incoming & outgoing streams.
Thanks in advance,
Alex
