Hi, I just read this thread because I can’t get my older Apple TV to “connect to the server”. When I start it up and try to access content, it recognises my Apple ID but refuses the valid ppassword. However I get a text from Apple stating that “a device needs a second level passcode with 6 numbers I tried re-entering the password adding on the 6 numbers. No advance. I went back to the iMac nd it didn’t recognise the ATV, neither did my iPhone 5s. There never was aproblem like this. Anyway, I’m wondering whether I should persevere OR chuck it out and buy a new ATV4? What do you recommend? cheers Marcus > On 6 Nov 2016, at 5:26 pm, Severin Crisp <sevcr...@westnet.com.au> wrote: > > A really tempting thought Ronni! > ____________________________________________________ > > Assoc Prof R Severin Crisp, FAIP, FIP, CPhys > 15 Thomas St, Mount Clarence, Albany, 6330, Western Australia > ph (08) 9842 1950 ( Int'l +61 8 9842 1950) > mail to: sevcr...@westnet.com.au > <mailto:sevcr...@westnet.com.au> > ____________________________________________________ > > > > >> On 6 Nov. 2016, at 13:18, Ronda Brown <ro...@mac.com <mailto:ro...@mac.com>> >> wrote: >> >> Hey Severin, >> Apple TV 4 is cheaper now, I just checked when I purchased Apple TV 4 - 64GB >> it cost me $384... >> >> Sent from Ronni's iPad4 >> >> >> On 6 Nov. 2016, at 1:03 pm, Ronda Brown <ro...@mac.com >> <mailto:ro...@mac.com>> wrote: >> >>> Hi Severin, >>> >>> tvOS 10 is only available on the fourth-gen (and later in the future) Apple >>> TV.
