Hi John, yes it will help to know what attempts you have tried so far
but until then, immediate steps I can think of are below and this
assumes the device is a WiFi only iPad and in the same WiFi network as
the other devices you indicate do connect with the internet.

        * Go to Settings>WiFi and Forget the network you think you're
connected to.
        * Re-establish connection to the WiFi network - enter password for
selected wifi network
        * Close all open background app - double click Home button and swipe
up on all apps
        * Reset the iPad - hold Home and Power buttons firmly and
simultaneously until the Apple symbol appears - allow it to reboot
        * Open Safari and see if Google.com opens?

Let us know status after trying this.
Regards
Pete

 Good afternoon John,
Can you let the group know what is your set-up and what steps you have
taken so far? I am no expert but I am trying to determine at what
stage you are stuck and see if I have any suggestions.
Many thanks & best regards,
Philippe C.

I know, senility is a big issue.  I have been trying for the past
hour or so to connect my iPad (6th gen), iOS 12.3.1, to the internet
without success.  There is no problem with my iphone or Mac Mini.
Does anyone have any suggestions as I seem to have run out of ideas.
