Hi Blitto, I only store my iCloud mail as I have the minimum 5GB of iCloud Drive. I use Dropbox for other files I need stored online as I have 8.75GB Everything else I have numerous backups of.
I’ve never had any real issues using iCloud Drive, but there are others that have. https://www.getapp.com/it-management-software/a/icloud/reviews/ Kind Regards, Ronni Ronni Brown’s iPad Pro 12.9-inch 256GB > On 27 Sep 2020, at 10:05 am, Rod Blitvich <rb...@iinet.net.au> wrote: > > Thanks Ronni! > So now I can view all my Mac documents on my phone or iPad - that’s cool! > Do you use it? > Any pitfalls/traps? > Cheers > Blitto > > Here’s a coup[le of useful links for anyone interested. > When I first turned it on i had about 60 GB in my Documents folder - this > took many hours to upload. > https://www.imore.com/how-save-your-desktop-and-documents-folder-icloud-drive-macos > https://www.imore.com/how-set-and-access-icloud-drive-mac > > > <image.gif> > > Rod Blitvich - Amy & Sam’s Dad > . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . > Good Ideas > 0409 681 256 > rb...@iinet.net.au > > > >> On 27 Sep 2020, at 7:32 am, Ronni Brown <ro...@mac.com> wrote: >> >> Hi Blitto, >> >> iCloud stores shadow copies of the documents in iCloud Drive in your user >> library.
