Hi All

Just a follow up on this -

The committee agree that we’d rather not go to Facebook for a list, so we’re
all happy to keep it with the current software that runs it. It also has “real
people” at the end of an email to support it if something does go wrong.

And from my own personal experience trying to help clients with Facebook
issues,….trying to “actually” get to a real person (or even a real email
address) to reply for help is very very tricky. I’ve had a few times we’ve
needed to get something resolved and it was just an absolute nightmare. (In one
case over a 3 month period emailing various “support” email addresses never
even got a reply. And that was at least 1 or 2 emails a week over a 3 month
period (to different email addresses - as even trying to find some form of
support contact for them is a nightmare). Everything wanted to be “automated”
and done from your account - which in this clients case was compromised and so
we couldn’t use it to get help. Created a new account to use to try contact
them, but after all that time - no success. I avoid Facebook myself as much as
possible!

Facebook might be ok for some things,…but we’d rather avoid it if we can.
Working through a few hiccups just to make sure we have all the correct info
before doing the change over. So far, most of it going well. But want to get
all the i’s dotted and t’s crossed before making the final announcement before
the move. So as to make a smooth transition.

Will keep you posted with more info as we have it.

Thanks again.
Kind regards
Daniel
