I have been watching Season 6 (it's in color...but I get through them!) In the beginning of the season the gang goes to Hollywood and spends a few days / episodes there. When they get back we have the episode where Aunt Bee is on the quiz show and wins all the prizes...only to find out they are taxable. As we all know, she sells the prizes "except the TV set and my garbage disposal." A few episodes later Aunt Bee files a claim to her insurance man (Howard Sprague's alter ego) because she thought she lost Aunt Martha's pin. With the insurance money she buys...a disposal!! Did I miss something or was this one of the inconsistencies with the writing?
