I'm in a state! Will this new blu-ray technology stuff affect our TAGS
dvd's? If my current dvd player breaks, will I have to get a blu-ray (what in
the world is that anyway)? Will we have to buy new blu-ray discs? I'm
greatly concerned that my current dvd's will soon become a piece of the past
like 8
track tapes, and beta videos. Do you think Orville Monroe will know?
Technology is developing faster than I can age, so I think I'm going to either
have to adjust or go hermitize myself.
Someone please rush an answer. My skinny little veins are popping and my
jaw muscles are clenched.

Carol:

I'm sure others will reply to this, but here goes. Blu-Ray is a High
Definition format of DVD. With a HDTV the quality is unmatched. However, it
will
also play standard format DVDs and try to upscan those so that those look even
better than on a regular DVD player. So, don't worry, your DVDs will still be
compatible if you upgrade to a Blu-Ray player.
