This thread about Andy's boots is very interesting. Outside of the old Billy Joel song "Scenes from an Italian Restaurant" I had never heard the term engineer boots.
Some of you may be lucky enough to have the original LP of the TAGS soundtrack (a scarce collectible). In the cover art, Andy has his feet up on his desk, and the soles of the boots are visible. The jacket of my copy is not in the best of condition, and the tornado that destroyed my house last year didn't help it none either, but it does look as if there might be logos of some type on the sole and heel of the boot. If anybody has a pristine copy, maybe Mrs. Mason could rush it through the chemicals and make an enlargement.
