I had the pleasure of meeting Ted White (who played prison work farm felon "Avery Noonan" in TAGS' 'The Legend Of Barney Fife' (1/17/1966)), at the 'Chiller Theatre' Expo in Parsippany, New Jersey. He noticed the photo of Pat Hingle in the Jim Clark/Ken Beck penned book The Andy Griffith Show Book and remarked: "He was a nice guy." White was nice himself and not "mean, big and mean" as warned over-the-phone by Warden Hix (Harry Holcomb) to Barney Fife.
