Two Chairs No Waiting 90: Young Finger Snapper http://imayberry.com/podcasts/2010/06/two-chairs-no-waiting-90-young-finger-snapper/ Following episode #88, Mayberry fan Gaither Harwood stayed around in the chat room (I record the show live and some folks drop by and watch the live feed) and confirmed that Earle Hagen’s son was the original finger snapper for the Theme of The Andy Griffith Show. I had thought that Earle had told me that during a conversation so when Gaither mentioned the same fact I was excited. I had not mentioned Deane Hagen’s finger snapping on the podcast because I couldn’t confirm my information.
