Chickens played an important role in a number of TAGS episodes. For instance, in the very first episode Opie claimed that Dickie, his bird, ate his fried chicken. Maudie had a chicken thrown at her by her husband. Hobo Dave Brown made chicken for Opie for lunch. Bo, the rooster, got snookered on moonshine and Frank Myers had his chicken, Hazel, living in the house. Barney's judo instructor even called him "The Chicken".
Now another episode dealt with Aunt Bee having her very own TV program. Well, not to be outdone, the Mayerry Guru here decided to make a cooking video featuring chicken. It is now posted on YouTube.
