While I was watching the 1941 movie "Shadow of the Thin Man" Sunday afternoon on TCM, I spotted the original Ben Weaver (Will Wright) as one of the suspects. Old Ben even had some dark hair on top of his head, this being 1941. Mr. Wright died while he was a cast member of TAGS and had to be replaced. How many other cast members of TAGS can you think of that passed away during the run of the show? I can think of at least two more. And, no, Floyd is not one of the answers. Howard McNear died in 1969, almost a year after TAGS left the air.
