This morning on The Western Channel they were showing John Wayne's final film, The Shootist. I am sure almost everyone knows that the movie featured a grown up Opie in a main part. But what I had failed to notice in previous viewings, is that Opie uses cuss words when he talks to his mama. I tell you if Aunt Bee ever found out about that she would have been washing his mouth out with soap.
