        No kidding! I have been so lucky when I got back into computers a few years 
ago in that I have not had any catastrophic crashes on my own puters. Murphy's 
law of course, that just by publicly posting this it means that I got to go out and 
buy a new hard drive this week. I'm running a "Quantum Fireball" drive on this 
particular Compaq, and am remembering those posts about year ago of that 
exact same drive literally going up in flames, oops.

Seriously, I've installed and used this cleaner 
http://www.vtoy.fi/jv16/shtml/regcleaner.shtml on multiple WIN9.x, Win2k, and 
XP boxes and have had no problems <strong>what so ever</strong>. Jouni 
Vuorio writes good stuff; he's kinda under the radar eh, methinks that his 
commercial work more than pays for the bandwidth to support the downloads he 
provides gratis from his own server, ala grc.com, karenware.com, and others   ;-)
