Personally I prefer to plain text but if my only options were html or an attached PDF I'd take the PDF, easier to trash without reading.<grin />
I wonder if this is the same marketing guy they have at t-mobile who causes my browser to go full screen when I log in at Starbucks. It is the most annoying thing they have done since purchasing MobileStar, especially since the site is optimized and fixed at 800x600 and my laptop is 1400x1050. When I complained I was told that "they would forward my complaint to marketing who insisted on that behavior". Don't they realize how silly it looks to have scrunched up content on the far left of the monitor and nothing but the background for half the screen? I can live with the little pop-up window that says I'm connected but why hide everything else on my screen by loading full screen on top? Sometimes I wonder if 'marketing' really knows how to do anything but alienate customers. They are the same ones who insist on small text images on cingular.com that can't be resized and are unreadable on my screen and to get to the login for my account now takes over a minute on cable instead of the nice bookmark I had that took me directly to the login screen so I could pay my bill and be on my way in less time than it now takes just to load the 'new improved by marketing design'. Much more like it :o) But what about the theory that people would prefer an email with a PDF attachment? that sounded kinda strange to me but seeing as how the guy my client was talking to is in marketing I thought I'd better say nothing... ____ • The WDVL Discussion List from WDVL.COM • ____ To Join wdvltalk, Send An Email To: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Send Your Posts To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To change subscription settings to the wdvltalk digest version: http://wdvl.internet.com/WDVL/Forum/#sub ________________ http://www.wdvl.com _______________________ You are currently subscribed to wdvltalk as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
