NT will not see a drive larger than 4gig (2gig if you want to be extra careful) until it has SP6(?) installed. Use fdisk to create a partition of either 2 or 4 gigs. Put the os on this partition and then install sp6 and you'll see the other 36 gig.

I tried connecting hd only on the cable. I tried connecting only the cdrom to the cable. I tried threatening it by leaning it out a second story window... nada. Any helpful hints on how to get started?
